Solo traveler’s perfect escape

This place is massive! Loved the pool and the fast slide, my kid had a blast! The breakfast buffet was plentiful. Seriously, I could hardly move after that feast! Plus, they give free transport tickets, which made exploring the area super easy.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but honestly, it felt worth it for what I got.

i woudl ve been thrilled to enjoy wellness facilities, but alas, their "maintenance" conveniently closed the pool during my stay. also, the breakfast, while decent, definitely doesn’t make up for my room's outdated decor, which felt like stepping into a time warp. no offer of a complimentary gesture for my inconvenience? how disappointing. almost left a better review, but just couldn’t.

My stay at the Hotel Europaeischer Hof Hamburg was truly delightful. The staff were exceptionally attentive, helping me with everything I required, and the breakfast buffet offered a wonderful variety of options, including freshly made pastries. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, making me feel right at home.

Wellness area was under renovation.

The location was perfect for our family, just a quick stroll to the Central Station and not too far from the Old Town. The breakfast had a fantastic variety, which kept our kids happy during our stay. We enjoyed visiting St Pauli Piers, too!

For dads, it would be great if the hotel had an elevator directly to the breakfast area. The stairs were a struggle with all the kids and luggage.

It was just an ideal choice for a short stay in Hamburg with real value for money. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a great variety of meats and cheeses. Be sure to check the timings for breakfast to get the most out of it!

The breakfast was AMAZING! So many choices! 😍 The room had a nice size but cleaning could've been better. No air conditioning made it a bit stuffy too. Great location, right by the train station!

Clean room, friendly staff, right across from the main train station with easy access to public transport, making exploring the area incredibly convenient and enjoyable.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and a 24-hour reception. I remember how the staff helped me return my documents I accidentally left during my first stay. I highly recommend enjoying the breakfast! I’m coming back for a romantic escape.

I enjoyed a pleasant two-night stay. The cozy lounge offered delicious cocktails, and the breakfast spread was impressive. However, I noticed that not having air conditioning might be challenging during hot summer days. Don’t miss the automatic coffee machine for a morning perk!

The location is fantastic, directly opposite the main railway station, which provides great access to public transport, including a free 3-day transport pass. The Standard Double Plus room was spacious, and the hotel offered a healthy variety at breakfast, catering to all tastes. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a quiet night despite the bustling area outside.
